If you are twenty-four, twenty-five can seem frightening. However, with the company of good friends and delicious food and cake it can be the start of a beautiful chapter. I spent the past couple days celebrating a very special lady's birthday. My friend Sam and her boyfriend Mark made a trip to Louisville to celebrate with me. Our days were filled with sampling local cuisine - Garage Bar for brunch, Against the Grain Brewing Co. for dinner, and lets not forget a tasty after-dinner beverage at The Holy Grail - and riding four-seater bikes around Louisville's Waterfront Park. Some of the geese there appeared quite cantankerous at first, but once I started snapping pictures of their good side, they mellowed out. Of all the good times we had, my favorite part was making breakfast for the birthday girl (picture bottom left). Reagan's contribution to the breakfast, staying true to his French roots, was a plateful of his famous crepes.
I turn twenty-five in August. I can't wait.
